Visiting Czech School of Dallas

On March 15th Benjamin Preschool / EnglishLibrary.sk visited the Czech School of Dallas in Dallas, Texas.

The purpose of the visit was to create new international ties with foreign preschool communities and to fundraise for the EnglishLibrary.sk project (a non-profit philanthropic effort led by Obcianske Zdruzenie: Skolska Druzina Benjamin). Over a 100 books were donated!

Furthermore everyone had a fun time and we tried to enrich student’s Czech and Slovak cultural roots through dancing, storytelling, and cooking. All the children tasted Slovak food, danced in a folklore dress, and watched a typical Slovak story.
