Happy Thanksgiving at Benjamin!

To all of our Benjamin family and dear friends, we are honored and blessed to have you in our lives. May this special day of Thanksgiving bring you love to your heart, health to your body, and peace and joy to your homes throughout the new year. It is a great time to slow down and realize how wonderful life is, what it brings to us every day and how thankful we are.

Children at all Benjamin locations had a big day on Thanksgiving day. They talked about the history behind this day, remembering the pilgrims leaving their homeland, heading to find new life in a new country. The ship called Mayflower brought them there, but children would tell you that it was a very hard battle to stay alive. That was the time when Native Americans helped the pilgrims and showed them how to grow plants and take care of their new land, so when the harvest came and they had enough to share, they invited Native Americans to celebrate the very first Thanksgiving day all together.

Children shared what they are thankful for in their lives and that they should never forget that.

And remember, Thanksgiving isn't just a day... It's a way we can live our lives every day. :)
